Men’s Club
The Men’s Club at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church is designed to bring the men of the Parish together in an environment that is built around service and camaraderie. The types of service provided by the organization typically involve maintaining the church grounds by mowing grass, pruning hedges, mulching landscape beds, and raking leaves, for example. Individuals with special talents often donate their time to assist with building and facilities maintenance as well. The Men’s club members also routinely volunteer to cook for events of the Parish throughout the year. To build camaraderie within the organization, a meeting is held on the third Monday of every month throughout the year where all men of the Parish are invited to enjoy an evening of food and fellowship. At the meeting, items of interest are typically discussed that involve ongoing and future service projects and reports from others about recent happenings at St. Thomas. When available, a guest speaker is often invited to the meetings. Those in the Men’s Club are encouraged to invite other men from the community to join them at the third Monday meetings to enjoy a meal and meet new friends.
